From the very beginning, Joris den Bruinen has been involved in the founding of Security Delta (HSD) in 2013. And since January 1, 2019, he is General Director / Director of the HSD foundation. In these years he has build up an overview of trends in de digital security domain. With his strong analytical thinking, organizational sensitivity and solution-oriented approach, the generalist Joris has a background in aligning digital security content, policy/strategy with organisational goals and decision making at CxO level. Futhermore he has a strategy and advice background in both the public and private sector and therefor speaks both languages. In the past he assisted the Mayor of The Hague as policy advisor. In addition, he was Deputy Head of Strategy & Operations at the SPS Office / Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and Joris held various positions in the field of organizational and talent development in the public and private domain. In addition to his position as director, Den Bruinen is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Secondary Public Education Haaglanden, chair of the working group for Security, Peace and Justice in the Netherlands AI Coalition (NLAIC) and chairman of the advisory board of the cyber security master of The Hague University of Applied Science.
